Hand spinning and weaving used to be a common household chore - today, most fabrics are manufactured in factories on a mass scale. Area New England spinners and weavers will be working in the Shirley-Eustis House Carriage House from 11am - 4pm on September 30, demonstrating the arts of home spinning and weaving. Stop in and see how cotton, flax, and wool become fabrics!
This event is free.
